Internationally recognized as a premier museum and research center, the Frick Collection in New York City is offering a free immersive Virtual Tour program in response to COVID, featuring some of the world’s most iconic sculptures.

Now viewers can tour the entire museum for a full 360 experience, with the ability to zoom in on any art piece for a closer look, just like if they were in the museum.

After clicking on an individual art piece, viewers can then easily read the origins, influence and specific historical details of each piece, and its collection.

The Frick is well known for its distinguished Old Master paintings and outstanding examples of European sculpture and decorative arts, especially bronzes.

Some notable examples include the beautiful 18th Century bronze works by Stoldo Lorenzi, gilted bronze works by The celebrated Parisian marchand-mercier Darnault Frères, the 15th Century, Angel, by Jean Barbet, and many others.

The collection was assembled by the Pittsburgh industrialist Henry Clay Frick (1849–1919) and is housed in his former residence on Fifth Avenue.

One of New York City’s few remaining Gilded Age mansions, it provides a tranquil environment for visitors to experience masterpieces by artists such as Bellini, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Gainsborough, Goya, and Whistler. The museum opened in 1935 and has continued to acquire works of art since Mr. Frick’s death.
