NEW YORK - The Copper Development Association has enhanced its commitment to the plumbing industry through its four-office regional network. The emphasis is on greater localized technical assistance with plumbing and mechanical applications in the building and construction markets.
Andrew Kireta, Sr., CDA national program manager, said, "This regional network will better educate engineers, mechanics, contractors, inspectors, building and code officials, and others involved in the design, use and installation of copper and copper alloy products and systems.
"As part of an extended effort to expand, secure and maintain copper product markets, the national team supplements our New York City staff in recommending installation guidelines and innovations for plumbing and mechanical applications."
The network recently introduced, for example, a series of box-lunch seminars and full-day clinics for design and installation professionals.
The Regional Managers are:
- Robert Hall, Jr., Southeast Region, operates from Snellville, Georgia, 770-736-0435, covering the area from North Carolina across to Oklahoma and south;
Andrew Kireta, Jr., in Crown Point, Indiana, 219-662-7645, handles the Midwest Region extending from the Dakotas, east to West Virginia and through Kentucky to Kansas and Nebraska;
Dale Powell, Northeast Region, is located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 717-533-0353 ) and services Virginia up to Pennsylvania and the Northeast;
