Properties of Wrought and Cast Copper Alloys

The updated copper alloys database includes all of the properties data that had been previously spread across multiple CDA publications. In a single search, you can find not only basic Chemical Compositions, Mechanical, Physical and Thermal Properties, but also extended information for many alloys on:

You can search the alloys database in two ways:

  • The Basic Properties Search will enable you to find alloys by their UNS alloy number
  • The new Advanced Faceted Search will enable you to define a set of properties and other criteria to find an alloy or a group of alloys that meet your specific needs.

Video 1 of 5: Mill Processing of Copper alloys

This webinar reviews production steps and stages that take place in a flat rolled products copper mill. Generally, this means for production of various copper alloys in sheet, strip, plate and bar forms. An overview is given of the casting, hot rolling, cold rolling, annealing, slitting and packaging of copper alloy products in these forms is given.

Usage of Copper and Copper Alloys in today’s world is segmented into areas. A review of these major segments is done in two different forms. Production for each area or areas are reviewed quickly and then alloys that are used in these segments are discussed. Finally, samples of these product and market area are presented.

This webinar deals with flat products primarily but delves into alloys and usages that are a little different. Again, casting, hot rolling, cold rolling slitting and packaging are discussed.
