The Copper Caucus
The Congressional Copper Caucus is a bipartisan group of lawmakers dedicated to advancing policies that support the copper industry and its essential role in the U.S. economy. Copper enables the technologies that power our homes, strengthen our infrastructure, and drive innovation in manufacturing, defense, and energy.
Co-chaired by Rep. Bob Latta (R-OH-05) and Rep. Brittany Pettersen (D-CO-07), the caucus works to raise awareness in Congress of copper’s critical contributions—from national security and electrification to sustainable development and supply chain resilience.
By creating a platform for dialogue between policymakers and industry stakeholders, the Copper Caucus helps shape legislation that promotes copper-positive solutions and ensures the long-term strength of domestic production and innovation.
Whether through education, policy, or partnership, the Copper Caucus helps champion copper’s value in building a more competitive and resilient America.
