The Rocky Ridge Recreation Centre facility sits in a natural park with views of the city and mountains in the North West corner of Calgary, Alberta. The LEED Gold targeted project is an approximately 248,000-square-feet multi-use center for various sports, including ice skating, swimming, climbing and more. The brass shingles provide a unique blend of natural materials and colors that capture the rolling prairie landscape of the Alberta Foothills just west of Calgary before entering the Rocky Mountains. The natural patina of the brass and the flexibility of the shingle design made it the product of choice for this outstanding project.
